How to Help Tornado Victims

Paul Bowen, St. Paul's director of outreach and formation, has spoken with the staff at Episcopal Relief & Development (ERD) about how our parish can support their emergency response following the 50-odd tornadoes that roared through the mid-Mississippi Valley last weekend, leaving a 200-mile swath of destruction. Paul learned that ERD asks two things from our parish: please pray and please contribute to its US Disaster Fund.

ERD has extensive experience preparing for and responding to disasters, and financial gifts will help them act quickly to support Episcopal dioceses in areas hit hardest. Your donations will help provide immediate help -- from food to blankets to pastoral care. Whatever you can give right now will automatically be doubled as part of ERD's 2021 Year-End Match.

Episcopal Relief & Development is the compassionate response of The Episcopal Church to human suffering in the world. Hearing God’s call to seek and serve Christ in all persons and to respect the dignity of every human being, Episcopal Relief & Development serves to bring together the generosity of Episcopalians and others with the needs of the world. Thank you for your generosity.
